Position Overview and Responsibilities
This position exists to support the training efforts led by the Knowledge Management & Program Training team, in the Office of Florida Health Care Connections (FX) in the Agency for Health Care Administration and reports directly to the Knowledge Management & Program Training Supervisor. FX is tasked with the modernization of the AHCA MES (Medicaid Enterprise Systems), driving a transformation of people, business processes, and technology. This position, and its Unit, are instrumental in coordinating and aligning business and technology in this transformation.
Assist the Knowledge Management & Program Training Lead in the execution of team objectives through meetings with vendors, contractors and Agency staff, including support provided in regular meetings to identify problems and shortfalls and proposes solutions; facilitating the gathering of people for action to lead and complete a project and/or solutions;
Ensure compliance of Team and Program objectives, gaining and ensuring understanding of business and contract requirements, assisting module vendors in elaborating all testable requirements to meet the business need; validating testable requirements are thoroughly elaborated, working with SMEs and vendors to document accurately; ensuring that products, applications, and systems are in compliance with established quality standards, and meet customer requirements.
The FX Training Support is responsible for collaborating with all stakeholders on the creation and execution of FX Enterprise training/learning strategies that will maximize employee adoption of new systems and processes, minimize disruption to the business, and maintain productivity. Key responsibilities of this position are listed below:
Development of Training Content
- Participate in training needs analysis across training workstreams and role-based curriculum development and learning paths
- Participate in Integrated Training Plan development and delivery for each change event
- Review system user guides / manuals, identify knowledge gaps and build missing content like Job Aids, Quick reference Guides, FAQs as needed to support successful go lives and operations.
- Build training scenarios and training data to support training needs.
- Provide assistance to the development of web-based training courses, LMS curriculum setup, videos, photos, and technically written documents
- Build FX Train the Trainer content needed for AHCA Bureau staff and execute Train the Trainer and end user training as needed.
Coordinate Training Logistics and Communications
- Coordinate design and review of learning and instructor lead materials
- Build Training communications.
- Coordinate and review all training material logistics
Continuous Quality Improvement
- Instruct on how to maximize best practices for trainers
- Utilize analyze design, develop, integrate, and evaluate (ADDIE) process for training courses
- Contribute to training continuous improvement processes
- Oversee training system environment needs identification and workstreams
- Monitor Learning Management System (LMS) content, management reporting, user registration, training feedback and utilization reporting.
Other FX Support
- Create written reports and presentations and fact-finding research as assigned, being able to adapt to multiple assignments, gather and present consumable and actionable operational recommendations.
- Contribute to overall Team and FX Program strategy through the performance and completion of other duties and special projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operations management software.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to create trainings using various software programs or training platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
- Preferred experience in health care sector or technological sector.
- Preferred experience in classroom training or work experience on projects.
- Ability to navigate and participate in multiple daily meetings both virtually and in person.
- Ability to travel with or without accommodation.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least one year of experience providing a professional level of training and development in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
Preferences
- Moderate to extensive experience and abilities using different training platforms such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), Teams, and PowerPoint.
