The Work You Will Do:
The Information Technology Analyst is a member of the Reemployment Assistance Application Development team of the Division of Information Technology. This position is responsible for performing functional testing of application development enhancements, maintenance, modifications, and/or fixes that the Department plans to deploy.
The incumbent will be responsible for evaluating user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems as well as review computer capabilities and process workflows.
Additionally, the incumbent will be required to plan, communicate, estimate work effort, task out to create assignments, and work collaboratively with others.

Pay: $40,500 – $50,000
Your Specific Responsibilities:
- Log, track and test defects using the required application development tools and software
- Create and maintain manual and automated test scripts
- Document defect, test scripts, and testing outcomes
- Perform automated and manual testing of system
- Collaborate with developers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and other users to refine and deliver requirements in a timely manner
- Participate in meetings to plan, develop, and implement customer applications
- Review and analyze business and technical requirements
- Develop and maintain process mapping documentation to test procedures, and identify quality standards
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios

- Knowledgeable of MF Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
- Knowledgeable of MF Unified Functional Testing (UFT)
- Knowledgeable in relational databases and SQL application
- Knowledgeable in application development methodologies and best practices including Waterfall and Agile/Scrum
- Excellent computer technical skills
- Excellent research and organizational skills
Qualifications:
As a condition of pre-employment eligibility, a Level 2 security background screening is required, which consists of fingerprinting and a check of local, state, and national law enforcement records.
Preferred:
- A high school diploma or its equivalent is required. Preference will be given to applicants with a bachelor’s degree or at least four years of professional Information Technology experience.
- At least one year of automated, unit, regression, or performance testing experience
- VB or C# experience
- SQL query experience
