Your Specific Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for the analysis and daily drawdown for the UC Benefit warrant and EFT payments and properly maintaining all applicable backup files.  Also, responsible for a monthly review to ensure the accuracy of the grant draw records.

 

This position will be responsible for the weekly pass-through draw and the daily drawdown of federal funds for Department operations and vendor/client payments and properly maintaining all applicable backup files.  Also responsible for monthly analyses to ensure the accuracy of the Department grant draw records.  This includes comparisons of FLAIR to PMS and to the Federal grant payment tracking database.

 

Ensure Payment Management System (PMS) and Automated Standard Application for Payments (ASAP) draws are processed timely and that daily deposits are made to the IRS through the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS) for taxes withheld from RA benefits paid to claimants.

 

This position will be responsible for the Food Stamp Employment and Training cash funding request and maintaining the applicable file documentation.

 

This position will be responsible for the Combined Wage Claims (CWC) payments to other states and properly maintaining all applicable backup files.  Will ensure that the Combined Wage Claims transfers from other states and the quarterly interest earned on the UTF investment is properly recorded in FLAIR and transmittal notification is sent to Treasury Staff. 

 

This position will be responsible for the analysis of Department revenues and refunds to assess the need for Service Charge transfer to the General Revenue Fund.  Maintains all backup and periodically monitors budget releases to ensure sufficient balance for timely posting of all required transfers.

 

Provides backup assistance as requested and required for other Unit and Finance & Accounting processes.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

Knowledge of accounting and audit requirements.

Ability to independently work with minimum supervision.

 

Pay:  $40,000.00 - $45,760.00
