The incumbent serves as a lead worker for the CDBG-DR Infrastructure and Hometown Revitalization Programs under Hurricane Sally and Hurricane Michael.  This position will be responsible for coordinating the work assignments for OPS employees within the Division of Community Development, Office of Long-Term Resiliency (OLTR), Business Economic Recovery Unit.

 

Your Specific Responsibilities: 

  • Provides guidance to Grant Managers related to subrecipient grant model processes including development of scopes of work, environmental review, invoicing and reimbursement, and grant closeout. 
  • Serves as main point of contact and provides timely communication to assigned subrecipients tracking agreements and/or contracts from execution to close-out.
  • Perform preliminary document reviews, facilitate the tracking of agreements through the department review, approval, execution, and close-out processes.
  • Works with subrecipients, Grants Coordinator, and consulting firm to draft, complete, or approve project scope of work depending on program.
  • Ensures subrecipients are completing all required documentation to meet established minimum compliance standards.
  • Maintains file for each subrecipient and program to provide State and Federal audit support.
  • Notifies direct line of report of any challenges or obstacles.
  • Approves reimbursement requests through SERA.
  • Acts as primary author of department documentation to ensure consistency between programs, increase efficiency, and streamline processes.
  • Compiles and verifies information for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Other duties as required.
