Your Specific Responsibilities: 

The associates of Florida Commerce are committed to quality in continuous improvement of all services and programs. The incumbent will have the responsibility to provide to all customers and suppliers timely and appropriate services in an environment that is customer-focused, data-driven, process-oriented, team-centered, partner-interdependent and sensitive to human diversity. Performs technical work involving the evaluation, implementation and use of telecommunication components and office information systems. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Develop and troubleshoot software incidents related to supported systems and applications, identify errors, implement bug fixes, and ensure conformance to standards.
• Assist in upgrading the Department’s Content Management System (CMS).
• Consults with users to translate business needs into IT solutions. Plans, designs, develops, tests, and enhances applications in collaboration with team members.
• Assists with analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and modifying programs, screens and databases using workflow diagrams and established logic principles.  Supports UAT and stays current with relevant technologies.
• Compiles and writes documentation of program development and subsequent revisions. Provides technical assistance to customers during UAT. Keeps up-to-date with current technology as it relates to job functions.
• Attends necessary educational training courses for technical improvement.
• Devises flow-charts and/or diagrams to illustrate logical operational steps of programs and systems (as needed).
• Writes technical specifications and system documentation for programs and applications.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

As a condition of pre-employment eligibility, a Level 2 security background screening is required, which consists of fingerprinting and a check of local, state, and national law enforcement records. 

Minimum:

• • 1+ years of software application development experience. in a professional environment.

Preferred:

• • ServiceNow development or admin experience
  • Sitefinity development or admin experience

Pay:  $45,060.12

The Work You Will Do:

The Information Technology Analyst is a member of the Reemployment Assistance Application Development team of the Division of Information Technology.  This position is responsible for performing functional testing of application development enhancements, maintenance, modifications, and/or fixes that the Department plans to deploy.

The incumbent will be responsible for evaluating user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems as well as review computer capabilities and process workflows.

Additionally, the incumbent will be required to plan, communicate, estimate work effort, task out to create assignments, and work collaboratively with others.
