Examples of Work Performed:

 

  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of child and vulnerable adult calls and documented work products to evaluate established performance metrics.
  • Research and analyze screening intake decisions at the request of regional API and CPI supervisors.
  • Must work well within a team.
  • Must be able to adjust schedule with very little notice.
  • Must be willing to consistently remain current with policy and procedure changes.
  • Conduct concise verbal or written feedback.
  • Must have the ability to speak in front of both small and large groups of people.

  • Knowledge of professional ethics relating to child and adult protective services.
  • Knowledge of interviewing techniques.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

  • Ability to understand and apply Chapters 39 and 415, Florida Statutes, and other relevant laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Ability to conduct fact-finding interviews.
  • Ability to assess for indicators of abuse, neglect or abandonment of children to begin the determination of a child being Safe or Unsafe.
  • Ability to assess risk factors for indicators of abuse, neglect or exploitation of vulnerable adults.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to write accurate allegation narratives that support the need for an investigation.
