Bi-Weekly Rate of Pay: $1,388.00 (in accordance with current spending restrictions, the position will be filled at the minimum of the pay grade or up to 5% of the employee's current rate of pay, whichever is higher)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for Exception Handler/Invoice Manager approving MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP)/Ariba on Demand (AOD) payment of invoice.

Audit invoices and purchase orders for compliance.

Process electronic and PO based invoices submitted and approved by staff in MFMP/AOD.

Ensures compliance is followed and enforced according to applicable statutes and departmental policies and procedures.

Verifies purchase order information against order received and supporting documentation.

Ensures that invoices are approved within 5 business days once received in MFMP/AOD.

Contact staff when necessary to ensure the following information are in Ariba on Demand (AOD) for each purchase received: acknowledgment of receipt, invoice information, purchase order and certification statement.

Serves as the final approver for the voucher summary daily.

Ensure payments on the summary are coded correctly and verify transaction date for compliance.

Assists in the management of the cerification forward process for the Department.

Assists with providing and submitting the information requested by the Department of Financial Services auditors and purchasing liaisons. 

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) system.

Experience in Axiom Pro.

Experience in MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP)/Ariba on Demand (AOD).

Able to work independently.

Communicate effectively, verbally, and in writing.

When identified on a position description, a valid driver’s license is required. If initially hired with an out-of-state license, the Florida resident must obtain a valid Florida state driver’s license within 30 days of hire. Licenses suspended or revoked for any reason, work permits (Business purpose/Employment/education only licenses), and some types of restricted licenses are not acceptable. Licenses that have Corrective Lenses Restriction are acceptable, provided the driver wears corrective lenses while operating the vehicle.
