This advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Central Office in Finance and Accounting.

Salary: $41,097.16 Annual Rate

SALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

COURT ORDERED PAYMENT SYSTEM (COPS):

• Reviews, audits and approves COPS change forms received from field offices in accordance with Department policy and procedures.
• Reviews, audits, approves and processes refunds from state accounts such as: cost of supervision fees, electronic monitoring fees, drug testing fees, probation and restitution subsistence reimbursements, and surcharge fees. Reconciles these refunds to reports generated by the Court Ordered Payment System.
• Reviews, audits and approves offender refunds.
• Reviews, audits, processes and reconciles funds disbursed to dormant accounts.
• Reviews, audits, approves and processes transfers of undisbursed funds from one payee to another payee.
• Assists probation and parole officers in resolving problems with payee accounts. Assists victims in resolving problems in their accounts.
• Reports any problems that may be detected to the supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
