Position Overview and Responsibilities:
Performs the duties related to established quality control guidelines. Assuring that employees are trained to work on the review and rescan queue. The incumbent will be responsible for assuring quality control measures are performed when observing images as they are being scanned and indexed.
Performs all duties of sorting, prepping, scanning and indexing member's mail and documents submitted by employing agencies. Assures that each employee is properly trained in purpose and function of all Division Forms. This position also ensures that all employees are trained in batch preparation, becoming familiar with how order forms are placed in batches and the proper use of document separators.
This position requires courier duties when assigned and a thorough knowledge of all courier routes and responsibilities.
The incumbent must possess a thorough knowledge of the equipment necessary to perform the assigned duties. Managing equipment service requests and the ability to perform daily maintenance is a responsibility of this position. This incumbent must have a working knowledge of the mechanics of retrieving stored material from State Archives.
This position is responsible for working with employees throughout the Division to resolve issues related to the member and agency documents being scanned and indexed and placed into workflow.

Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of secretarial or clerical work experience.
College education from an accredited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for each year of the required work experience.
Vocational/technical training in the areas of secretarial science or office/business studies can substitute at the rate of 720 classroom hours for each year of the required work experience.

Division of Retirement:
The mission of the Division of Retirement (division) is to deliver a high quality, innovative, and cost-effective retirement system. The division currently has 221 full-time retirement staff and manages a FY 2025-26 operating budget of $48,864,720. The division administers the Florida Retirement System (FRS) Pension Plan, one of the largest state retirement systems in the US with more than 1.1 million active, retired, and terminated vested members and $191.6 billion in assets. The division pays out $12.9 billion a year in retiree benefits and maintains the service history, vesting and membership status records, and collects nearly $5.5 billion annually in employer and employee contributions from more than 1,000 employers for all FRS members.
