Total Compensation Statement

Your Benefits are a significant part of your state compensation. The total compensation package could be anywhere from $72,144 to $82,796  annually.  The total compensation package includes annual salary, insurance, retirement, leave and holidays.


The position you are applying is subject to a Level 2 background and CJIS security clearance, to include fingerprinting as a condition of employment pursuant to Chapter 110.1127, 435 and 943, Florida Statutes.  As an applicant for positions requiring CJIS security clearance, you are required to disclose criminal records that have been sealed or expunged. 


This position is the technical lead of a fast-paced application development team focused on development and support of SharePoint services. This position leads the team and conducts work involving the design, development, modification, testing, installation, implementation, documentation and support of new or existing applications software with cross divisional scope and necessitating the integration of multiple technologies and coordination with network, security and data management specialists.


Knowledge Skills and Abilities:


  • Skill in developing custom workflow solutions using Nintex
  • Skill in SharePoint Server administration
  • Skill in designing web pages and web sites
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and integration with SharePoint Server
  • Skill in Nintex workflows
  • Skill in InfoPath development
  • Skill in developing custom solutions using SharePoint Designer for SharePoint Server

Preference will be given to applicants with the following:

  • 3 years’ experience developing with SharePoint
  • Experience developing SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Designer or InfoPath or Nintex or Visual Studio (Knowledge of InfoPath development, Ability to develop custom solutions using Visual Studio for SharePoint Server, Ability to develop custom workflow solutions using Nintex, or Ability to develop custom solutions using SharePoint Designer for SharePoint Server)
  • Skill in development using web programming languages, such as (but not limited to): HTML, CSS, XML, .NET, JavaScript



Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.


General Information

The elements of the selection process may include a skill assessment and/or oral interview.

Applicants being considered for employment will be required to submit to a fingerprint-based background investigation, which will include a check of the criminal history records of the FBI.

The process for selecting applicant(s) for this position could take up to six months.  Following the six-month period, a new application must be submitted to an open advertisement in order to be considered for that vacancy.

HSMV employees are paid once a month on the last workday of each month.  All state employees are required to participate in the direct deposit program pursuant to s. 110.113 Florida Statutes.   



Note:  A complete CJIS Level II Background Investigation is a condition of employment.  This position may periodically be required to work outside regular business hours.  This position is telework eligible.
