DFS Attorney Supervisors work on a sophisticated portfolio with a high degree of private-sector relevance. 

The salary range for this position is $96,000-$102,000 with benefits (state health insurance and retirement contributions) worth approximately $29,000-$40,000 (per DMS).

Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.

There is no billing requirement for this position, and it is located in Tallahassee.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

This Attorney Supervisor position presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced attorney to represent the Division of Funeral, Cemetery & Consumer Services, one of twelve divisions housed within the Department of Financial Services. This role allows the ideal candidate to be at the center of some of the Department’s most complex and interesting legal, regulatory, and legislative matters, as well as the opportunity to develop and lead a talented team of attorneys. You will be responsible for managing your team, providing legal guidance to the Division, practicing before a professional board, litigating in state and administrative tribunals, drafting legal documents, and participating in rulemaking and legislative bill drafting and analysis.
