This position is responsible for determining the eligibility for employment or service provision to vulnerable clients. It requires frequent interaction with Legal, Human Resources, the court system, law enforcement agencies and community providers. The work requires an ability to analyze detailed reports and records and recommend appropriate disposition. The incumbent will serve as a lead worker assisting the supervisor with limited supervisory duties and responsibilities, which includes managing workload, assisting teammates with questions / concerns and training new staff. 

Knowledge, skills and abilities, including utilization of equipment, required for the position:

  • Ability to communicate verbally and inwriting the details of the screening process.
  • Ability to work with Department and community partners for training and resolving background screening issues.
