JOB SUMMARY: This is a Business Technology Analyst I - Government Analyst I position in the General Tax Administration Program, Business Technology Office, Data Support Services Unit. The incumbent performs the duties of a data/reporting analyst, including developing data extractions, writing queries, designing reports, and building dashboards. The incumbent also gathers requirements, builds functional specifications, and tests deliverables.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
- Two years of experience working in the General Tax Administration Program.
- Two years of experience working with the System for Unified Taxation (Suntax).
PREFERENCES:
- Experience working with the Excel, Tableau, and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience gathering requirements for IT and business projects.
- Experience creating datasets, reports, or dashboards.
SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,787.52 monthly/$45,450.24 annually.
