JOB SUMMARY: This is a Business Technology Analyst III - Government Analyst II position in the General Tax Administration (GTA) Program, Business Technology Office, Payment and Fund Distribution Unit. The incumbent works independently, assisting in developing operating systems for GTA. The incumbent conducts requirements gathering sessions with business processes, documents the requirements in the form of written specifications, works with programmers to develop system requirements, conducts testing on system changes, conducts training on these changes, and provides additional support as needed. The incumbent’s area of support includes but is not limited to, Payment Processing (both E and Paper), Distributions, .NET web applications, and the Clerk of Court, Red-Light Camera, and Medicaid Remittance E-Portal application.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue. 
  • Two years of experience working with the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX).

PREFERENCES:

  • Experience working with the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX) Financials

SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $5,842.26 monthly/$70,107.12 annually.
