JOB SUMMARY: This is a Revenue Administrator III in the Department of Revenue’s Child Support Program Central Operations Service Site. This position directly manages a team of 5 supervisory and 61 operational team members. The incumbent will work with the Service Center Manager to develop, implement and monitor operational plans. Communicate the strategic planning process to team members so that all levels understand the benefits derived from focused strategic initiatives to achieve the top performance for the customers served. Provide the Service Center Manager with recommendations for aligning resources. Determine resource needs and shift available resources to ensure the highest level of productivity. Analyze existing and new business requirements to determine gaps and provide solutions. Provide leadership and direction to service site team members, lead team-based processes in a large site. Function as administrator, coach and advisor to team members. Provide on-the-job training to team members. Provide input for the Other Personnel Services budget. Meet with other managers and the management team to discuss program goals and strategies.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
- Two years of supervisory experience to include: motivating, mentoring, development and directing team members.
- Two years of experience performing personnel management/human resource functions such as hiring, performance reviews, conflict resolution and disciplinary action.
- One year of experience managing a process/work unit operation to include: planning, organizing, reviewing performance data, coordinating staff work, and setting unit performance goals.
- One year of experience effectively communicating through a variety of methods (report writing, public speaking, correspondence, to a diverse internal and external audience).
- Experience building positive relationships with staff, external partners and customers.
PREFERENCES:
- Experience managing in Central Operations.
SPECIAL NOTES:
- This position is eligible for part-time telework upon completion of required training and acceptable level of proficiency.
- An alternative Screening Tool will be used in lieu of an SVT.
SALARY: $58,573.68 - $60,330.84.
