The Office of Criminal Conflict & Civil Regional Counsel, First DCA Region is seeking a full-time attorney/certified legal intern (CLI) in our Tallahassee, FL office who will be responsible for Criminal case work.  This position is open to recent law school graduates, both those awaiting to take the bar exam and those who have recently passed the Florida bar.  The applicant will be required to represent clients in various types of court hearings, including jury trials, non-jury trials, motion practice, and should have the motivation and ability to cover cases on multiple dockets.  Such representation of clients would include client interviews, witness interviews, preparing witnesses for trial, research and writing legal documents and filings, and providing an ongoing assessment of the merits of a case.  The position is a full time State of Florida position with attendant state benefits with a salary range commensurate with the successful applicant’s experience.
