MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major course of study in marketing, business, merchandising, economics, agriculture, international affairs, leisure services, or communications and two (2) years of professional experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, agriculture, international affairs, leisure services, budgeting, business or industry development, the travel industry or in hotel or restaurant management, budgeting and accounting, research; or
 

A master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major course of study in business administration and one (1) year of professional experience as described above.
 

Professional or paraprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.  
 

Requires possession of a valid Driver’s License.

JOB DUTIES:
 

Assist staff in the creation of campaigns and projects. Assist in the creation of a work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the activity. Review the project schedule with staff that will be affected by the activities; revise the schedule as required.
 

Compile and maintain necessary records to document project activities. Operate system(s) to capture all project information. Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments or report to staff as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project. Assist delivery of status updates to stakeholders, including other staff, on the progress of the project.
 

Compile or support the creation of final reports, e.g., financial, return on investment, executive summary. Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality. Collaborate on evaluating the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase.

 

Provide direct assistance to the section staff on a variety of administrative and general assignments.

 

Assist with recommendations and dissemination of promotional items.

 

Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge and capability in general office procedures, databases and other technical capabilities as needed to achieve results in missions and projects.

 

Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
