MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major course of study in marketing, business, merchandising, economics, agriculture, international affairs, leisure services, or communications and three (3) years of professional experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, agriculture, international affairs, leisure services, budgeting, business or industry development, the travel industry or in hotel or restaurant management; or

 

A master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major course of study in business administration and two (2) years of professional experience as described above.

 

Professional or paraprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

 

Requires possession of a valid Driver’s License.

JOB DUTIES:

 

Conduct comprehensive marketplace research across media platforms, websites, retail merchandising, print and media advertising to ensure the “Fresh From Florida” logo is used in accordance with established guidelines. Monitor news coverage and press releases for references to the “Fresh From Florida” brand. Develop and optimize processes for collecting and tracking information. Identify and report logo use violations.

 

Perform compliance audits of “Fresh From Florida” membership. Utilize contact management system to research member status and run reports.

 

Prepare action plans to support “Fresh From Florida” brand integrity. Assist supervisor with brand reports for leadership.

 

Effectively communicate polices related to the “Fresh From Florida” Industry Membership Program to internal and external stakeholders: host informational webinars about the “Fresh From Florida” brand and logo use polices.

 

Demonstrate basic understanding of Florida’s Administrative Procedure Act, 5H-17, F.A.C and the rulemaking process. Assist Supervisor with rulemaking.

 

Respond to industry inquiries regarding the “Fresh From Florida” Industry Membership Program and logo use guidelines. Identify and share opportunities for member recruitment. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
