MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

A high school diploma or its equivalent and nine (9) years of professional or paraprofessional experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, agriculture, international affairs, leisure services, business or industry development, the travel industry or in hotel or restaurant management; or

 

A bachelor's degree (4 years) from an accredited college or university with major course of study in marketing, business, merchandising, economics, agriculture, international affairs, leisure services, or communications and five (5) years of professional experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, agriculture, international affairs, leisure services, business or industry development, the travel industry or in hotel or restaurant management; or

 

Completion of the Development Representative Trainee Program and three (3) years of professional experience as described above; or 

 

A master's degree (6 years) from an accredited college or university with major course of study in business administration and four (4) years of professional experience as described above.

 

Requires possession of a valid Driver License.

JOB DUTIES:

 

Media Agency Contract Manager - Serve as media agency contract manager for the division’s advertising agency. Work with agency to develop effective social media campaigns for approval by bureau chief. Ensure campaigns are aligned with the department’s multi-million-dollar media buy for consistency, timing and availability timeline. Evaluate and report on media pitches from advertisers. Research topics and marketing concepts for viability and success. Draft, approve and edit content before final approval from bureau chief for placement with media agency. Supervise communications staff positions within bureau. Track and manage media agency budget, flowchart and traffic instructions in coordination with bureau chief. Effectively communicate with members of the Division of Marketing’s bureaus and sections.

 

Fresh From Florida Club - Supervise team to manage the “Fresh From Florida” Loyalty Club Program, including but not limited to creating calendar of events, draft content, working with developers and media agency and making recommendations for upgrades and additions to platform in coordination with bureau chief. 

 

Management of FFF Website Maintenance - Supervisor for division website, FollowFreshFromFlorida.com. Manage a team who develops new and up to date content on a monthly basis including recipes, images, landing pages, etc.

 

 

Coordinate “Fresh! Video Operations – work with video production staff and culinary to determine what commodities are featured in new photography and video components. Works on-site as production supervisor during shoots. Maintain calendar and timeline for final editing and inclusion to website.
