Position Responsibilities:

- Development and implementation of technology standards which includes but is not limited to, collaboration tools such as Teams, Skype, OneDrive for Business, and SharePoint Online; and Microsoft cloud-based mobile device management and mobile application management tools such as Intune, BitLocker software encryption, Azure Active Directory and O365 including Office 2019.
- Create technical documentation for all supported software applications and hardware installations.
- Reconfigure workstations for new and existing clients. Work with other Data Center teams to set up new clients or change existing client’s configuration of hardware and software.
- Researches, evaluates, and tests new technology in accordance with established team goals and initiatives.
- Incumbent in this position may be required to be in on-call and/or call back status.
- Provides on-site and remote technical assistance to clients through diagnosis of problems and implementation of changes to resolve problems.
- The employee must be productive under tight timeframes, balance multiple and competing priorities and maintain goal-directed behavior and performance sometimes under stressful conditions.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
- Must be able to dead lift at least 50 lbs.

Background Screening Requirements
It is the policy of the Florida Department of Education that applicants for employment undergo level 2 employment screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.
