Position Responsibilities: 

  • The employee must be productive under tight timeframes, balance multiple and competing priorities and maintain goal-directed behavior and performance sometimes under stressful conditions. 
  • The employee must interact courteously with others. 
  • The employee's performance and behavior must demonstrate consideration of the workload concerns of others and must not negatively affect productivity and morale of the unit.

  • Employee is expected to demonstrate knowledge, skills, and ability to prepare, provide, and disseminate quality products representative of the Department's commitment to quality, efficient services, and practices. 
  • Development and implementation of technology standards which includes but is not limited to, collaboration tools such as Teams, OneDrive for Business, and SharePoint Online; and Microsoft cloud-based mobile device management and mobile application management tools such as Intune, BitLocker software encryption. Azure Active Directory and O365 including Office 2019. 
  • Create technical documentation for all supported software applications and hardware installations. 
  • Reconfigure workstations for new and existing clients. Work with other Data Center teams to set up new clients or change existing client's configuration of hardware and software. 
  • Researches, evaluates, and tests new technology in accordance with established team goals and initiatives. 
  • Incumbent in this position may be required to be in on-call and/or call back status. 
  • Provides on-site and remote technical assistance to clients through diagnosis of problems and implementation of changes to resolve problems. 
  • The employee must be productive under tight timeframes, balance multiple and competing priorities and maintain goal-directed behavior and performance sometimes under stressful conditions. 
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned. 
  • Must be able to dead lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Attendance is an essential function of this position.
