STARTING SALARY: $1,780.37 Bi-Weekly.  (In accordance with current spending restrictions, an internal promotion into the position will be filled at the minimum of the pay grade or up to 5% of the employee’s current rate, whichever is higher.)

DESCRIPTION:

The incumbent in this position will act as an Analyst in in the Department's Incident Operations Center (IOC). This person will be responsible for reviewing and classifying incident reported to the Central Communications Center (CCC) for assignment action, tracking incidents throughout the incident management process, reviewing completed Management Reviews, and completing trend analysis based on reported incidents. The duties of this position will include, but may not be limited to, the following:

 

Reviews each incident reported to the CCC based on FDJJ 2020 policy Appendix B and follow up with the program area or program/provider to obtain any additional information that may be necessary for determining how the incident is processed.

 

Participate in the daily determination meeting and make recommendations for incident processing based on established policies and known trends.  Make assignments in the CCC system based on the outcome of the daily determination meeting.

 

Conduct program area trend analysis to identify trends occurring in specific programs, with specific providers, or in a certain program area.

 

Compile and produce quarterly reports, legislative reports, and complete data requests using Tableau.

 

Monitor the status of open incidents to ensure that weekly status updates are documented every 14 calendar days and extensions are approved and entered into the CCC system. Produce a weekly status summary report of all incidents for the assigned program area.

 

Reviews completed management/program reviews, complete a quality check of the report in the CCC system to ensure compliance with established protocols and to ensure that data fields are completed and accurate.

 

Respond and assist program area in making changes in CCC system.

 

Perform other related duties as required.
