Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent

 

  • Three (3) years of administrative work experience

 

  • Valid Driver License

 

  • Professional experience with state and/or private building operations

 

  • Professional proficient in Microsoft Office Suite editions (Windows 10 or above)

 

  • Proficient working with power tools

 

Preferences:

  • Experience with Department of Management Services (DMS’) Tririga system
  • Experience with State Emercency Management Plan (SEMP) Reporting
  • Experience with Surplus of State Property

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the point of contact and works directly with the Department of Management Services as the Department’s paid parking administrator.
  • Enter information for new contracts and cancelled contracts in DMS supplied software.
  • Manage parking permits for City Lot 60 including issuing permits and collections of fees for lot users
  • Submit monthly SEMP (State Energy Management Plan) Report
  • Assist with Central Supply Orders
  • Assist with Surplus process of state own property
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of methods of compiling and analyzing data
  • Knowledge of general maintenance activities
  • Skilled in MS Word, Excel, Access, and FileMaker and other standard software packages
  • Ability to interpret state laws, regulations, and rules
  • Ability to communicate effectively with managers and coworkers
  • Ability to understand & apply rules, regulations, policies & procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally & in writing
  • Ability to plan, organize & coordinate work assignments
  • Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner & work independently
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver license
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability and skill in operating power tools
