Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or At least four (4) years of managerial or supervisory experience
• Knowledge of Florida Election Laws

Preferences:

• At least two (2) years experience working in Elections
• Law degree from accredited university or college
• Experience in conducting presentations
• Experience with Campaign Finances and/or Qualifying

Duties and Responsibilities:

This is a highly responsible and independent managerial professional position requiring commensurate skill, judgment, and knowledge to plan, direct, and coordinate the day-to-day activities of a bureau responsible for all administrative programmatic and operational activities of the Bureau of Election records  

Manages and coordinates all activities and work flow within the Bureau of Election Records

Responsible for staffing budgeting, establishment of policies and procedures and quality assurance within the Bureau of Election Records

Responsible for coordinating with county Supervisor of Elections

Responsible for program reporting and

Performs other work related duties as required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of management and leadership principles.

Knowledge of fundamentals of the judicial and criminal justice systems as it affects voting rights.

Skill with Microsoft Office software and basic computer programs/applications.

Must have good written and verbal skills to include the ability to give presentation on subjects germane to the bureau.
