Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of experience managing audio video, cellular telephony devices, and/or VOIP telephony systems.
- Meet requirements to become Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) certified.

Duties and Responsibilities:
This position serves as an analyst within the Network Support Section in the Bureau of Departmental Information Systems (BDIS) at the Florida Department of State (Department). Responsible for audio video units, wireless devices and VOIP telecommunications while proactively monitoring network system health measures.
Applies knowledge of audio video units, wireless devices and VOIP telecommunications to troubleshoot problems and outages. Maintains technologies, especially relating to VOIP telephony systems, cellular telephones, cellular hotspots, Cradlepoint wireless network switches, and Meraki wireless access points. Collaborates with network architects on network optimization, design, and setup. Configure and support complex software for upgrading and maintaining audio video and telecommunication systems.
Assists with installing, configuring, and working on the Department's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) including the Florida Voter Registration System (FVRS) WAN, and wireless access points located at Department properties. Maintain accurate network hardware and software inventory. Proactively monitor network and perform necessary maintenance/remediation to ensure network availability.
Monitors network connectivity between the state data center and the Supervisors of Elections offices in each of the 67 counties within the State of Florida to ensure connectivity and communications with the FVRS. Serves as one of the primary points of contact with the Supervisor of Elections Office in each of the 67 counties within the State of Florida to ensure network connectivity and communications with FVRS.
Responsible for maintaining accurate network hardware and software inventory, network documentation, and network diagrams. Assists with the renewal of maintenance contracts for Department network appliances.
