Minimum Qualifications:

Six years of direct experience or a master’s degree.

 

Customer service experience.

 

Knowledge of computer software applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.

 

Experience developing and implementing projects and programs.

 

Experience reading, reviewing and editing the content of others.

 

 

Preferences:

Experience tracking and monitoring legislation.

 

Knowledge of the state legislative process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists in the planning, developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating of Division projects and assignments.

 

Monitors and tracks statutes and bills that are amended or created by the Legislature that have effects on the Division. Conducts research and prepares documents to communicate fiscal impact on proposed legislation as requested.

 

Provides Division communications review and editing support.

 

Supports Division boards and councils.

 

Coordinates Division safety inspections, grant desk reviews, and other cyclical projects.

 

Performs other work-related duties as required.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of computer software applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.

Experience developing and implementing projects and programs.

Experience reading, reviewing and editing the content of others.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to plan, prioritize, coordinate and schedule multiple concurrent activities within area of responsibility.

Attention to detail and thoroughness.
