Minimum Qualifications:
- Three (3) years of clerical experience of which two (2) years’ experience with statues, rules or government regulations.
Preferences:
- One (1) year as a Regulatory Specialist III with the Division of Corporations.
- Experience filing in accordance with Chapter 487, 495, 607, 605, 609, 617, 618, 619, 620, 621, or 865.

Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a professional/supervisory position in the Division of Corporations.
- Plans, organizes and directs work unit's activities and organizational procedures. Recommends, analyzes, establishes, monitors, delegates and assigns work activities to maximize financial, human, and physical resources. Establishes operational goals and deadlines. Identifies developmental needs. Ensures filings/tasks are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with office standards and operational procedures. Recognizes problems and adjusts as needed. Regularly communicates with superiors. Routinely informs superiors of accomplishments, problems and/or progress.
- Supervises staff. Regularly communicates with staff members, both verbally and in writing. Provides regular and constructive feedback to staff. Develop performance plans and performance standards for employees. Evaluates staff based on performance standards. Effectively motivates, instructs, trains and interacts with employees. Inspires, fosters and encourages learning and professional development of staff. Recognizes and rewards employees for contributions and accomplishments. Disciplines, counsels, and coaches’ employees as needed.
- Examines business filings for statutory or case law filing requirements. Approves the filling or disapproves and identifies the deficiencies. Computes and collects any applicable fees. Adds, deletes or updates computer records in accordance with office standards, policies and procedures. Communicates with clients verbally and in writing. Generates correspondence and/or certificates in accordance with office policies and procedures.
- Performs other work-related duties as required.
