Minimum Qualifications:

  • Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Resume submission.

 

Preferences:

  • One year of customer service experience.
  • Seeking a degree in Library and Information Studies or Public History.

 

Salary and Hours Per Week:

  • $15.00 per hour
  • Not to exceed 20 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Shelves books, microfilm, maps, and other library materials
  • Pulls books for patron holds and Interlibrary Loan requests.
  • Staffs the public service desk.
  • Scans articles.
  • Assists in digitization projects.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to provide customer service to library users.
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work activities.
  • Ability to work with a variety of computer applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
