Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Eighteen (18) months of clerical experience of which one (1) year experience with statues, rules or government regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will serve as part of a “strike force” for the Division of Corporations to assist in the various units within the Division as need and volume dictates. This is technical work requiring independent judgment in examining various business filings for legal compliance, authentications, certifications, fiscal intake and document scanning and other filing responsibilities of the Division of Corporations.
- This position will assist the various units within the Division (Bureau of Commercial Recording, Bureau of Commercial Information Services and Business Unit) at the direction of the Operations & Management Consultant Manager-SES based on volume, need and staffing. Examines business filings for compliance with statutory and case law filing requirements; approves the filing or disapproves and identifies the defects and deficiencies; determines if defects require a rejection of the filing or if corrections can be achieved through supplemental submissions; computes and verifies the proper filing fee has been paid; maintains records and statistics of filings/registrations received, approved or rejected utilizing a complex interactive computer data base; adds, deletes or updates computer records in accordance with office standards, policies and procedures; issue authentications for documents to be presented in another country; fulfill certification requests insuring accuracy and completeness of the file or requested document; generates correspondence and/or certificates in accordance with office policies and procedures; associate payment with the document(s) submitted, endorse payment for deposit; create an archived copy of the filed document by scanning and image; answers incoming phone calls; communicates with clients orally in person or in writing to assist in clarifying and correcting filing/document defects and deficiencies; assists public with guidance regarding filing requirements.
- Assist Operations & Management Consultant Manager on special projects which can include legislation reviews, testing and quality control for new applications and programs.
- Performs other work-related duties as required.

- Knowledge of Florida statutory requirements of business entities.
- Ability to provide consultative assistance to others.
- Ability to plan/organize/coordinate work activities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
