JOB SUMMARY: This is a Government Operations Consultant III (Editor and Communications Specialist) position located in Property Tax Oversight (PTO) program's Compliance Assistance process. In this position, you’ll be part of the communications team. This position's responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing communications to external customers for compliance with the Department of Revenue Style and Brand Guide.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to develop or revise manuals, guides, training materials, informational brochures, and other communication products.
  • Collaborating with the program's web development team to ensure web content is consistent in tone, structure, and format.
  • Performing other related duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of five years' professional experience composing and editing written communications for both internal and external stakeholders.*
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

  • * A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university may be substituted on a year-by-year basis.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This is a Tallahassee based position.

SALARY: $61,000.08 / annually
