JOB SUMMARY:

Information Services Program is seeking a skilled professional to serve as EDP Quality Control/Scheduling Specialist within the Service Operations unit. This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining production schedules and jobs using an automated job scheduler (OpCon). Incumbent will perform operational tasks to set up new production jobs, conduct quality assurance on production print job output, and maintain form libraries of all forms in production for Production Control and Publishing teams' use as well as maintain a record of daily production jobs for monthly reporting. Incumbent will also troubleshoot and confer with staff to determine cause of failed production and to help resolve the failure, prioritize, and work Incident tasks and Service Requests in Cherwell, deliver excellent and prompt customer service to internal and external customers, develop and/or maintain operating procedures for processing production batch jobs, and coordinate and participate in assigned special projects for scheduled blackouts, annual mailing, and disaster recovery.

 

**This position will provide on-call support and is designated as "mission essential" pursuant to the Department of Revenue's Continuity of Operations Plan.**

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two years of experience with Data Processing
  • Three years of experience in Customer Service

PREFERENCES:

  • On call experience
  • Experience in Batch Job Scheduling

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This position is located at Huntley Park (5040 W. Tharpe St.), Tallahassee, FL.
  • The tentative salary for this position is $35,430.00.
  • This position is not eligible for telework.

SALARY: $35,430.00 - $38,000.04.
