What Will I Be Doing:

This position is a highly responsible position in the Office of Motorist Modernization and will be responsible for the evaluation of current Motorist Systems and make recommendations for future systems that will be designed by the Office of Motorist Modernization.


This position will support the modernization effort by ensuring the continuity of business requirements across the modernization enterprise.  The Enterprise Process Analyst must understand the functional areas and activities of each modernization team.  This position will be required to act as a liaison between all modernization teams and create and enforce processes related to standards for all business requirements.


Do I Qualify:

  • Do you have experience using Blueprint Software?
  • Do you have 1 or more years of experience using a motor vehicle issuance system such as the Florida Real-Time Vehicle Information System (FRVIS), to issue motor vehicle credentials or the Florida Driver License Information System (FDLIS) to issue driver licenses?
  • Do you have experience creating process flow diagrams?
  • Do you have experience creating User Interface (UI) mock-ups?
  • Do you have experience and/or knowledge, skills, or abilities using Microsoft Word to create business documents?
  • Do you have experience collaborating with multiple individuals and/or cross functional groups and/or teams?

  • Knowledge of Motorist Services Driver License and/or Motor Vehicle systems and supporting business processes.

  • Prepare, review and update requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations for proposed solutions using standard templates.
  • Ability to analyze situations and provide recommendations for change.



Potential candidates will be required to complete an oral interview and work sample.  This position will be located in Tallahassee, FL.


Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., although working on weekends may occasionally be required.


Job Related Requirements:

The selected applicant must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) criminal history background check.  



General Information

The elements of the selection process may include a skill assessment and/or oral interview.

Applicants being considered for employment will be required to submit to a fingerprint-based background investigation, which will include a check of the criminal history records of the FBI.

The process for selecting applicant(s) for this position could take up to six months.  Following the six-month period, a new application must be submitted to an open advertisement in order to be considered for that vacancy.

HSMV employees are paid once a month on the last workday of each month.  All state employees are required to participate in the direct deposit program pursuant to s. 110.113 Florida Statutes.
