The Work You Will Do:

  • Oversight of and analysis of the environmental program data processing needs.
  • Recommendations for program development and enhancement of existing systems. 
  • Preparation of service requests, project proposals, supporting documents and assisting the Office of Technology and Information Services with the implementation of enhancements and new projects.
  • Granting user access to the various Water databases.
  • Maintenance of database code tables.
  • End-user training and manual updates.
  • Compilation of Key Performance Indicators.
  • SQL Queries of Water databases for data requests.
  • Maintenance of Access databases and programs.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint site and App setup.
  • Maintenance and creation of Qlik Reports databases and programs.

Pay:

$51,000.00 - $54,000.00/annually (Commensurate with experience)

 

Your Specific Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the oversight and development of the Division’s SharePoint pages and Power Automate flows. Responsible for the Division’s Oculus tickets and support. Assist with Onboarding tickets and set-up.

 

This position is responsible for the oversight of and analysis of the environmental program data processing needs, makes recommendations for program development and enhancement of existing systems. This includes preparation of service requests, projects proposals, supporting documents and assisting OTIS with the implementation of enhancements and new projects.

 

This position is responsible for providing environmental expertise for overseeing the database and application statewide district support for the Division’s databases and applications. This includes granting user access, problem solving, reporting, user training and maintaining the user manuals and database code tables. Additionally, this includes responding to data requests by senior management, legislative affairs, other governmental agencies and the public. Directs the production of ad-hoc data system reports, including Qlik.

 

Plans and coordinates application, database and other information system training and utilization to facilitate statewide program implementation.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of environmental principles, terminology, and concepts, as they relate to wastewater facilities management.; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.; Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.; Knowledge of MS Windows; SQL queries, MS Suite.

 

Required or Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and 2-years relevant work experience OR 6 years of relevant experience can substitute; Valid Driver’s License.  Pursuant to the sections 110.1127 and 435.04, Florida Statues, and DEP Directives 422.

 

This position is designated as a Position of Special Trust in accordance with DEP-422 (Positions of Special Trust or Responsibility).
