This advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Central Office within Community Corections’ Bureau of Field Services.
Salary: $54,075.32 Annual Rate
SALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent of this position provides support to the Bureau of Probation and Parole Field Services.
- Operates a multiline telephone system to initiate and respond to communications relating to absconders.
- Drafts official correspondence pertaining to absconder information.
- Monitors and audits offender profiles to address duplications and/or test profiles requiring revision or additional action.
- Collects, processes, and uploads all Community Corrections offender photos statewide.
- Conducts quality assurance reviews of photos and instructs the field to retake photos that do not meet the statewide standard requirements.
- Completes special assignments and projects.
- Responds to inquiries from state agencies, law enforcement agencies, courts, legislature, offenders, and all other types of records requests that require complex explanation or administrative decisions.
- Responds to communications received via telephone, correspondence, or email relating to absconder information.
- Researches absconder information received, using available resources to develop leads and track the whereabouts of absconders.
- Coordinates the arrest of absconders.
- Manages and oversees death notifications and certificates.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of two (2) years’ Probation and Parole database experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of Criminal Justice Information (CJI) and the various applications used to access the CJIS database.
