This advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Central Office in the Bureau of Education.
Salary: $39,320.81 - $43,138.40 Annual Range
SALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews programs, services, forms, and reports, and confers with management and users to identify problems and improvements.
- Develops and implements records management program and assures compliance with program.
- Interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed, and methods, equipment, and
- personnel used.
- Prepares manuals and trains coworkers in use of new forms, reports, procedures, or equipment, according to organizational policy.
- Designs, evaluates, recommends, and approves changes based on need and analysis.
- Researches and recommends purchases to management.
- Provides technical assistance, consultative services, and direction for development, implementation, evaluation and expansion of
- programs of service in public agencies and local governments.
- Plans, coordinates and/or presents at statewide and regional conferences, meetings, and workshops.
- Reviews, analyzes and researches legislative issues and prepares analysis of the projected effect of any proposed legislation or
- action.
- Develops and monitors compliance policies and procedures for the administration of federal grant funds or other trust fund monies.
- Prepares and compiles data for legislative budget requests and long range program plans.
- Gathers and organizes information on problems or procedures.
- Analyzes data gathered and develops solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
- Documents findings of study and prepares recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational
- changes.
- Confers with personnel concerned to ensure the successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures.
- Consults with federal, state, and local officials on matters applicable to the assigned area of specialization.
- Interprets laws, rules, policies and/or regulations.
- Provides purchasing and budget tracking assistance to staff.
- Processes staff travel and reconciliation travel expenditures with multiple funding sources.
- Assists with all processes conducted within the Academic Education section.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma ior its equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License.
