This advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Central Office in Tallahassee, Florida in the Bureau of Finance & Accounting in the Southwood Complex.

Salary Rate: $34,501.48

SALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acts as backup Scoped Administrator in P-Card Works.
  • Creates and maintains users in P-Card Works.
  • Assists with training P-Card Works users.
  • Issues and cancels Purchasing Cards.
  • Performs and/or coordinates the P-Card reconciliation process.
  • Assists in the development of the Agency P-Card plan and P-Card policies/guidelines.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the methods of data collection.
  • Knowledge of P-Card Works preferred.
  • Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to an accounting program.
  • Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and general office equipment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Must possess at least three (3) years of reconciling experience.
  • Must possess at least three (3) years of Microsoft Excel experience.
