This advertisement is for a vacant Selected Exempt Services (SES) position located in the Office of Human Resources in Tallahassee, Florida.
Salary Rate: $47,667.36-$48,776.26 Annually
SALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provides support to the Recruitment Quality Assurance team within the Office of Human Resources. Functions as an alternate team lead, back-up systems operator, and quality assurance reviewer as directed by team supervisor.
- Provides guidance and direction for institutional and Central Office Recruitment staff.
- Monitors recruitment activities, collects and analyzes data, updates tracking logs for applicant flow while identifying trends, and ensures the appropriate time frames are met.
- Compiles and provides appropriate reports to management for production tracking.
- Conducts Level 2 background investigations for Correctional Officers and Probation Officers. Must be proficient in the following systems: People First, ATMS, DAVID, HRTS, FAST, CDC, FRS, FCIC/NCIC, CCIS.
- Reviews background investigations and onboarding documentation for quality assurance.
- Provides backup support for new employee onboarding and training.
- Provides backup support and tracking of fingerprint processing and pre-employment medical exams.
- Assists with Recruitment events locally and statewide as needed. Occasional travel may be required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess at least six (6) months of professional State of Florida Human Resources Recruitment and Selection experience.
