WORKING TITLE: Financial Reporting and Revenue Management Manager
This open competitive advertisement is for a SES (Selected Exempt Service) position located at Central Office in General Accounting.
Our mission in general accounting is to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain fiscal responsibility, and support the financial integrity of the organization through diligent and transparent accounting practices.
This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.
JOB DUTIES:
- Dive into analyzing, auditing, and reconciling accounts to ensure everything is in perfect compliance.
- Lead exciting accounting activities and perform complex financial analyses to keep things running smoothly.
- Develop and document internal accounting procedures and controls, making sure everything is top-notch.
- Prepare detailed program analyses and financial reports, providing crucial insights for management.
- As a supervisor, inspire and guide your team, evaluate their performance, and have the authority to make key decisions like hiring, promoting, and rewarding employees.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Seven (7) or more years of accounting, finance, or any other business-related field experience. Postsecondary education may substitute up to four (4) years for the required experience.
- Supervisory experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience preparing year-end tasks for the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) reporting.
- Knowledge and experience with the Florida PALM project.
- Four (4) or more years of FLAIR experience.
- Experience in project management, data analysis and revenue management.
- Experience reviewing and maintaining general ledgers’ data integrity.
- Knowledge and experience with asset management.
Support of knowledge, skills, and abilities should be demonstrated on the application, in the education, in the work experience, in the work sample, in the interview and/or during reference checks.
