Job Description


The essential function of the position within the organization is to provide oversight, management, and instruction of various electronic platforms and business systems, primarily related to procurement mechanisms and tools utilized by employees of the judicial branch. This position will provide technical support and training to a statewide base of users on several business systems, primarily serving as the My Florida Marketplace Ariba OnDemand (MFMP) System Administrator. The position serves as backup for other analysts in the office, and is responsible for creating, updating, and providing training on a variety of other online business system accounts.  This position provides users assistance with reconciling purchases and payments and updating and analyzing accounts for business systems.  This position will assist in developing policies and procedures and will perform related administrative functions for the unit. This position acts as a liaison with each court of the judicial branch and between the judicial branch and various departments of the executive branch.

 

Other business systems the position may provide backup support to include PCard Works, the Statewide Travel Management System (STMS), the State Courts System electronic case event reminder system, e-Notify, the contract Tracker system, and other related systems.  Examples of work performed by this position include, but are not limited to:

 

Developing, coordinating and presenting or facilitating educational content, training courses, and related resources, including but not limited to webinars, instructor led training, train-the-trainer programs, online learning modules, manuals, guides, and job aids.

 

Serving as the system administrator and information and training resource for users of assigned platforms or systems.

 

Collecting, reviewing and analyzing data related to assigned platforms or systems, analyzing for trends and making recommendations for process or other improvements.

 

Education and Training Guidelines


Bachelor’s degree in public, business, or judicial administration, finance, purchasing, accounting, criminal justice or closely related field, and five years of related experience. 

 

Additional directly relevant experience or a master’s or doctoral degree in a related field may substitute for the education or experience on a year-for-year basis.

 

Special Comments

 

The successful candidate should have experience supporting electronic platforms or systems, including maintaining user accounts; be able to analyze and synthesize data and develop recommendations; and have experiencing developing and facilitating training.  Experience providing excellent customer service and knowledge of MFMP preferred.
