Our Organization and Mission: The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.
Pay: $40,000 - $43,000 Annually
Position Summary: This position serves as the primary lead for the daily operations of the agency’s telecommunications program and maintains the Phone Desk database.
Qualifications:
- Four (4) years of professional experience in general services/support services operations, purchasing, complex procurements, contracts, p-card management, telecommunications, and/or real property/facilities management;or
- an AA in any degree area may substitute for two of the four years of required work experience. or
- a BA in any degree area may substitute for the four years of required work experience.
Preference may be given to applicants with State General Services experience.
Preference may be given to applicants with electronic file storage experience.
The Work You Will Do: This position’s duties include but not limited to the following:
TELECOMMUNICATIONS
- Ordering, assigning, invoicing, inventory management, and troubleshooting of all agency owned wireless devices and wireless accessories; reserving online conference rooms and conference phone lines; invoicing conference phone lines; updating the Telephone Database; electronic file storage of telecommunications records; and maintaining accurate records of wireless and analogue telephone line inventory. This position is also responsible for coordinating with Information Technology to address all user required modifications to wireless devices.
FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
- This position assists in facilities management to include but is not limited to: serves as a “backup” to the Maintenance Desk, updates floorplans, assists in coordinating vendors for furniture delivery, moves, surplus disposal, and maintenance related requests, and assists with electronic storage of facilities records.
SAFETY
- This position assists in maintaining records of safety inspection logs, assists in preparing for audits, assists in electronic file storage of safety records, and other related tasks as needed.
OTHER DUTIES
- This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace and following all unit work, communications, and supervision processes. This position performs other duties relating to the responsibilities of the Bureau of General Services, as needed.
