The Work You Will Do:

This position serves as the Division’s primary resource for facilities and leasing administration, supporting statewide operations. Under the direction of leadership, the incumbent manages lease procurement, contract compliance, and facility coordination to ensure efficient, cost-effective use of space. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational continuity, supporting strategic planning, and ensuring compliance with Chapter 255, F.S., Chapter 60H-1, FAC and Department of Management Services (DMS) requirements.

 

Your Specific Responsibilities:

Manage and administer all agency leases, including procurement, renewals, and compliance with DMS policies and procedures.

Coordinate facility maintenance, inspections, and issue resolution across statewide locations.

Prepare solicitations (RFPs/quotes), evaluate proposals, and negotiate lease terms to achieve cost savings.

Serve as liaison between building managers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support facility operations.

Oversee and support construction, renovation, relocation, and space planning projects.

Maintain accurate lease files, documentation, and reporting to support budgeting and legislative requests.

Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with lease terms and safety standards.

Participate in move coordination and provide support for space utilization and furniture needs.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of Chapter 255, F.S., Chapter 60H-1, FAC and DMS leasing policies and procedures.

Ability to analyze data, evaluate options, and develop practical, cost-effective solutions.

Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with sound judgment.

Effective communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business systems to support reporting and operations.

 

Minimum Requirements: 

Must possess a high school diploma and one year of experience.
