SPECIAL NOTES:

Four (4) years of experience in Human Resources or Human Resources Management is required. A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Human Resources Management, or related field OR an associate’s degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, or related field and two (2) years of the required experience may be used as an alternative for the years of required experience.

 

Additional requirements:

  • Two (2) years in IT recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of IT roles, technologies, and hiring trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet hiring targets.
  • Proficiency in recruitment tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, DICE, ATS, etc.).
  • Must proficient in the English language.

 

This position may be required to occasionally perform duties other than those listed on the position description.

 

The salary range for this position is $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 annually.

 

Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.

 

This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of and skill in recruitment, specifically in the IT sector.
  • Knowledge of technical roles, industry trends, and recruiting best practices.
  • Knowledge of and skill in managing outside third-party recruitment platforms and tools.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration.
  • Ability to apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to personnel administration.
  • Knowledge of US employment laws and best practices.
  • Knowledge of and skill in utilizing automated personnel systems.
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work activities.
  • Ability to set priorities and work independently.
  • Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

In this role, your primary focus will be to strategically source and attract top IT talent through a variety of avenues, including job portals, social media platforms, and active networking. You'll dedicate significant effort to conducting thorough initial screenings, meticulously evaluating candidates' technical proficiency and cultural compatibility to ensure a strong fit within the organization. You'll manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from crafting and posting engaging job descriptions to expertly navigating offer negotiations, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for all involved. Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers will be paramount, requiring consistent, clear communication and a collaborative approach. Additionally, staying informed about the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving hiring best practices will be essential, enabling you to continuously refine your strategies and contribute to the organization's talent acquisition success.
