MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work.
A master’s degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
Possession of a valid Class E Driver License.

OFFICE DESCRIPTION:
The Office of Energy (OOE) is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where staff work together as a team to develop public policies and programs that that will move Florida toward a more diverse, stable, reliable, and resilient energy portfolio. Using available state and federal funds, the OOE develops and manages energy efficiency, renewable energy, energy education, and alternative fuel technology programs throughout the state.
JOB DUTIES:
This position supports the Operations Administrator as needed with planning, direction, coordination, and review of duties for adherence to all applicable rules and regulations for accuracy and timeliness. Provides support to the Compliance lead and other staff to address and resolve all related monitoring and auditing needs identified the U.S. Department of Energy (USDOE), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), State Auditor General, and Inspector General staff. Assists grant staff with tracking receipt and review of all sub-grant audits to verify compliance with federal and state audit requirements, including the implementation of any required corrective actions.
Conducts an initial review on all sub-grant invoices for cost reimbursement, coordination with Grant Managers on necessary corrections, and updates to the Invoice Tracking Log, performs the initial fiscal review on all sub-grant invoices for cost reimbursement, coordinates with Grant Managers on necessary corrections.
Supports the Grant Administrator with administrative oversight, development, and implementation of grants and contracts for State Energy Program (SEP), the Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant (EECBG), and any other grant program administered by the grants team. Responsibilities include assisting with input and upkeep of the USDOE Performance and Accountability for Grants in Energy (PAGE) reporting system and ensuring required reports and any other federal funding requests or amendments for existing federal funding awards are submitted accurately and timely.
Assists the grants team with preparations for reviewing applications for deficiencies, standardization of communication and processes, documentation of awards, data collection, grant close outs, etc.
Assists the Operations Administrator with the generation and update of support documents for budget functions, as necessary including allotments, cash projections, budget release requests, budget reversions, fiscal analysis of proposed legislation and legislative budget requests.
Serves as the Division Information officer (DIO) and the Liaison for Information Technology; facilitates audio-conferencing, purchasing of information technology assets and software licences, submitting help-desk tickets, coordinating with OATS regarding periodic computer updates.
Performs other related duties as required.
