MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work.
A master’s degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
Requires possession of a valid Class E driver license.

JOB DUTIES:
Serves as team lead for routine and non-routine quality assurance assessments as assigned. When serving as team lead for assessment, works with supervisor to establish appropriate time frames for completing routine and non-routine reviews. Compiles findings from team members assigned to assessment and prepares report and exhibits documenting analysis of assessment, summarizing findings and recommendations, and submits to supervisor within prescribed timeframe.
Participates as a team member in routine and non-routine quality assurance assessments on processing and program areas within the Division of Licensing; routine assessments will include review of applications, training documents, criminal history documents, citizenship documents, and review of Comprehensive Case Information System (CCIS). When serving as team member, submits documentation of files assessed to assessment team lead within assigned timeframe.
Identifies areas of potential improvement and confers with supervisor to make recommendations for additional assessments.
Assists line supervisors in the installation of quality assurance techniques as assigned.
Provides management consultant services and assistance based upon well-established and accepted practices, theories, techniques, and methodology.
Confers with team members and supervisor to prepare research designs for conducting evaluations of programs and services.
Conducts special studies, inquiries or investigations to analyze problems and issues stemming from management practices and recommends corrective action to agency officials.
Provide training and mentoring to new members of the work unit. Provide remedial training and ongoing support to members of the work unit.
Performs other special duties, assignments and related work as needed/directed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.
- Knowledge of basic management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of Chapter 493 and section 790.06, F.S.
- Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document work flow and other activities relating to the improvement of management practices.
- Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents and other written materials.
- Ability to conduct fact-finding research.
- Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to management analysis activities.
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
