Minimum Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and three years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work. A master’s degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one year of the required experience. Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

 

The incumbent in this position must be productive under tight timeframes, balance multiple and competing priorities and maintain goal-directed behavior and performance sometimes under stressful conditions. The employee must interact courteously with others. The employee’s  performance and behavior must demonstrate consideration of the workload concerns of others and must not negatively affect productivity and morale of the unit.  Attendance is an essential function of this position.

 

This position reports to the Senior Management Analyst Supervisor in the Contract Administrative Management Unit Section of the DVR Bureau of Vendor and Contracted Services.

 

This is a highly responsible professional position requiring the incumbent to act as provider manager over complex direct service delivery. Duties  and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Provider Onboarding activities, such as:
  • Participating in drafting and updating the provider services manual
  • Conducting an initial call with new providers to prvide technical assistance and training and
  • Conducting qualifications review and onboarding new emplyment specialists, as appropriate.

Provider management responsibilities, such as:

  • Enforcing provider performance of applicable terms and conditions
  • Evaluating provider performance and informing management of issues with service delivery
  • Review and approval of benchmarks and processing of invoices
  • Maintaining complete, comprehensive, current, and well organized records
  • Providing technical assistance and training to providers
  • Participating in ongoing and scheduled monitoring, including btoh desk-top and on-site activities
  • Development and enforcement of corrective action plans, as deemed necessary and
  • Evaluating provider effectiveness and recommending improvements to ensure optimum service delivery.
  • Participating in Provider quarterly meetings
  • Preparing and conducting training/presentations as assigned and
  • Performing research, preparing reports, and presenting to management, as appropriate.


The incumbent also performs other related duties, as assigned.

 

Contract management experience required.

Florida Certified Contract Management (FCCM) certification strongly preferred.

Knowledge of contracts and grants management (to include purchase orders and memoranda of understanding).

Experience with research, analysis, preparing reports, and presenting to management.

Background Screening Requirement:

It is the policy of the Florida Department of Education that applicants for employment undergo level 2 employment screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.
