SPECIAL NOTES:

Four (4) years of experience in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field is required. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field may substitute for the required years of experience. An associate degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field may substitute for two (2) years of the required experience.

 

Additional requirements:

  • Three (3) years of customer service experience.
  • Working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Available for incoming inquiries and follow-up for up to 8 hours each day between the hours of 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
  • Be flexible with work schedule to ensure coverage during peak times. (Scheduled hours may vary slightly due to business needs.)

 

This position may be required to occasionally perform duties other than those listed on the position description.

 

The salary range for this position is $51,320.28 to $60,000.00 annually.

 

Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.

 

This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret technical data.
  • Ability to plan, organize and conduct workshops, seminars, and training classes.
  • Ability to work with business users to gather and analyze system requirements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems with existing applications.
  • Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library Concepts (ITIL).
  • Knowledge of standard Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of ITSM internal components (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Table Schema, JavaScript, UI Actins, UI Policies, Reports, Dashboards, Workflows, Notifications)
  • Knowledge of PM/Agile concepts.
  • Skill in the practical application of ITIL Management processes.
  • Ability to develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to research, interpret and prepare reports, presentations, and other documents.

 

OTHER KSAs (Incumbent may learn on job):

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of accepted OCM approaches, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to independently plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments.

 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

As the member Solution Center team, this position supports the creation, operation, and maintenance of the Solution Center and responds to end user support requests. The Solution Center is responsible for supporting Florida PALM end users across the state.

 

This position deals with complex policies and procedures associated with the support of a Financial Management Solution (FMS), and provides consultation and expert advice to end users, and carries out major assignments independently.

 

Specific Duties:

  • Services as a Solution Center Analyst. This includes monitoring and responding to end user support requests in a timely, courteous and professional manner; recommending support request escalations; accurately tracking and recording support request information in the solution center work flow application (ServiceNow); acting as the single point of contact on all support request they have been assigned, including those escalated, between the solution center and end user; Communicating impediments and potential issues to the Solution Center Quality Assurance Lead and Manager as appropriate; Staying current on updates to Florida PALM, knowledge base information, and solution center policies.
  • Supports activities with Florida PALM end users to timely share Florida PALM information. This includes identifying support needs through collaboration with Project team members and agency end users; participating in end user meetings and engagement activities; and drafting communications of Solution Center related communications.
  • This position may be asked to support the development of work products, deliverables, and communications, and collection of solution center metrics as needed.
