GENERAL STATEMENT:
This is an independent and complex consultative work position assisting management in the coordination of financial matters affecting division operations, policies, goals and objectives.
Serves as one of the DLE Contract and Grant Manager. Assisting with the routing, creating and monitoring of contracts and grants for the division to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and policies. Works to assess and improve processes and policies to help the division streamline and be more efficient. Assists with the training and coordinating as needed of new processes and policies to help the Division staff understand the new information.
Participates in agency grant, contract, and uniform teams/committee as needed.
Asist with billings of revenue contracts managed by the Division, and coordination with the revenue and grants section for completion of invoices in a timely manner. Monitors revenues received by the division for grants and contracts. Reconciles invoices and revenue to ensure proper coding, and submits requests for corrections as needed, if revenue is coded incorrectly.
Serves as an advanced buyer for the Division, completes all purchases, and p-card works clearing as an accountholder.
Assists with procurement for the Division, by preparing bid information for submission to the Purchasing office that includes invitations to bid, requests for proposal, invitations to negotiate, requests for information, and request for statement of qualifications, and single sources over 35k. Manages the agency term contracts to include renewals and extensions.
Assists with special projects as needed, including Emergency Response
