Our Organization and Mission:

The Division of Service Operations manages the Central Intake and Licensure unit, the one-stop shop for intake of applications and payments. The Division also oversees the Customer Contact Center (CCC), which handles all initial interaction conducted via telephone and e-mail.

 

The Work You Will Do:

This is a highly responsible position under the direct supervision of the Deputy Director.  The staff in this position assists with researching, analyzing, and reporting information related to the processing and maintenance of license applications and records.

 

Your Specific Responsibilities:

This is a professional position reporting directly to the Deputy Director of the Division of Service Operations in the Division of Service Operations Director’s Office.  The incumbent in this position assists with researching, analyzing, and reporting information related to the processing and maintenance of license applications and records. The position also assists with researching customer inquiries and Public Record Requests. Work includes the performance of duties that involve independent formulation and analysis, with the ability to recommend and follow through with a course of action.

  • Gathers, receives, and obtains available information from the department’s business units and all relevant sources to assist in the evaluation of qualification for licensure, including evaluation of initial license applications as well as maintenance of issued licenses.
  • Analyzes, evaluates, and researches results utilizing the department’s systems and information gathered. Works with Division management to make recommendations regarding courses of action to be taken by division business units.
  • Creates and generates reports with results and recommendations regarding the status of applications and licenses. Provide guidance to internal customers in the use and understanding of reports.
  • Communicates with applicants, licensees, and other internal or external customers to inform of license or application status and assist in the resolution of any license or application issues.
  • Serves as the backup to the Public Records Office Contact for the Division. Responsible for redacting and ensuring the billing and payment of outgoing requests; is completed for services rendered in accordance with current Public Records laws.  Keeps Agency Clerk’s Office informed of any subpoenas received and ensures a timely response is provided.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Must have experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting; and
  • Must have experience analyzing and evaluating information gathered by department systems.

Position Notes:
