Government Operations Consultant II
Your Specific Responsibilities:
- Understanding respond to constituent concerns, questions or complaints with accurate information provided by the related program area.
- Investigating, assessing, analyzing and making recommendations to resolve issues and problems brought forward to the OLTR that is sensitive to the complainants concerns and achieves a fair result while following federal and state regulations.
- Providing direction, guidance and counsel to in the management and operation of the Office of Long-Term Resiliency (OLTR).
- Briefs Leadership- (Bureau Chief), and (Director) on project activities.
- Composing correspondence, memoranda and reports as directed.
- Coordinating regularly with OLTR program leads to prepare responses to complaints and inquiries.
- Ensuring that any information provided to Rebuild Florida program applicants or complainants are documented in case notes.
- Entering necessary data in the program tracking systems and maintaining constituent files to meet program standards.
- Maintaining constituent casework records in an accurate, complete, and confidential manner.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to understand and apply rules, policies and procedures relating to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Program.
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work activities.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions and implement appropriate solutions.
- Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy, customer service, or ethics.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of program/constituent information.
- Knowledge of applicable Florida Statutes.
Pay: $45,060.11 Annually

The Work You Will Do:
This position serves as Constituent Management Services Analyst and works with the Senior Management Analyst II-SES and supports tracking of constituent inquiries, complaints, concerns and requests for assistance by entering contact information and detailed case notes, including case resolutions into the tracking system. This position coordinates between all program areas and related vendors to provide constituents, stakeholders, and other external entities accurate and helpful information. This position will handle numerous calls a day from home owners in the Rebuild Florida program.
