Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides administrative support to the FRC Program Administrator.
• Takes minutes for all FRC meetings.
• Processes and responds to routine correspondence, investigates subject matter and prepares appropriate responses.
• Prepares travel authorizations and reimbursements for staff and members.
• Coordinates with council members, the DOE travel office and DVR Vendor Registration unit to create profiles for new
members in the STMS travel system.
• Negotiates, develops, finalizes and routes hotel contracts for in-person meetings.
• Develops and completes authorizations, purchase orders and goods and services in MFMP.
• Disseminates information to council members and management, as needed.
• Assist maintaining distribution lists, tracking of training and informational materials, mail distribution, and office
supplies.
Assists the FRC and other DVR staff by researching, coordinating, developing and evaluating information shared between DVR, other governmental agencies, community partners, vendors, and contractors to include but not limited to:
• State Plans
• Needs Assessment Survey
• Strategic Plans of action
• Customer Feedback Survey
This position collects and analyzes information for DOE/DVR staff, FRC members and FRC meetings. Assists with developing, reviewing, and revising guidelines, policies, procedures, management practices, proposed legislation, and related directives. Uses appropriate software to design and prepare reports, charts, graphs, technical writings, procedures guides, and operator instructions.
Assists FRC members and DVR Staff to develop the Annual Report.
Researches, analyzes and provides reports (as appropriate) on problems and issues arising from management, programmatic, and operational practices, and the implementation of policies and procedures mandated by the Florida Rehabilitation Council (FRC), the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) and the Department of Education. Provides technical guidance to FRC members and DVR staff regarding policies and procedures. Conducts special studies, inquiries or investigations as may be required.
Arranges necessary accommodation services for members and the public to participate in meetings and activities.
Performs related work as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Utilization of equipment, required for the position.
Knowledge of methods of data collection and analysis; basic management principles and practices.

Collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document workflow and other; activities relating to
the improvement of management practices; organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents and other

effectively, establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
